Course Objective Architecture of the Hellenistic period and to have an idea of their historical connections. To have a general idea about the development activities of the Roman Imperial period. Augustan period to know the structures and their properties. Augustan era architecture dating to recognize and make decorations.
Course Content The buildings related to Roman Empire Era and in accordance with them the definition of the architectural elements and architectural characteristics of them will.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To know the transitional period from Hellenistic to Roan period and its historical events.
2To have a basic knowledge about construction activities in Roman Empire.
3To know the buildings of Augustus period and its characteristics.
4To be able to recognize and date the architectural ornaments of Augustus Period.
5To know the main characteristics of Roman buildings.
6To know the main characteristics of Roman architectural ornaments.
7To be able to make comments about architectural ornaments of Roman period.
8To be able to make evaluations about construction activities of Roman emperors.
