Course Objective The aim of the course is analyzed that the pottery of Hellenistic period. The objectives of this course is to analyze that the social and political structure and pottery production of Hellenistic period.
Course Content The characteristics, production centers, extension areas and style features of this period ceramics in which the ceramics covered with white priming, painted in various colours, relief ceramics will be told.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Defines Hellenistic pottery with general traits.
2Examines the social life in Hellenistic period
3Examines the political life in Hellenistic period.
4Examines pottery samples produced between 4th-1st centuries BC.
5Knows the Hellenistic pottery workshops in Anatolia, Italy and Greece.
6Investigates Hellenistic pottery shaper and manufacturing techniques
