COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective And to define the overall scope of the source of mythology. İn Theogonia of Hesiod's creation myth and its origin last generations to know and be able to switch between the edge and mythology. Mythology about the different representations and to differentiate the differences between them. The third generation of interest with the gods mythology knows, and scenes of their questioning gives symbols.
Course Content The relationship between archaeology and mythology, the birth of Classical Greek Mythology and the elements from which it was affected will be mentioned.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To be able to recognize the sources and general characteristics of mythology
2To be able to distinguish the creation myth in Theogonia of Hesiod, to know its source and their different versions though the ages.
3To be able to distinguish Western and Anatolian gods in antiquity and their attributes.
4To know mythology of third generation gods, to recognize their attributes and also scenes depicting them
5To be able to recognize different mythological scenes and differences between them.
6To be able to make comments about social life in antiquity
7To know complex mythological depictions and their functions
8To be able to express himself written and orally the knowledge and experience obtained at the end of the lesson
