Course Objective The aim of the course is received that the important and situation of technical drawing in archaeology. The objectives of the course is used that the standard methods of technical drawing in archaeology.
Course Content In this course, the techniques of construction of the building’s plan, crosscut appearances will be given practically by using the tools of the technique construction.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Describe the general characteristics of archaic pottery.
2To be able to determine the purposes of main drawing tools..
3To be able to use the methods of technical drawing for archaeological purposes.
4To be able to draw basic geometrical shapes according to technical drawing rules.
5To be able to learn the types of projections and to be able to draw the projections of archaeological material.
6To learn how to use scales, to be able to draw antique buildings by using the right scales.
7To learn how to obtain the external view of buildings and archaeological artifacts using the right tools and techniques.
8To learn how to obtain the cross section, to be able to get the cross sections of archaeological material in an archaeological excavation.
9To learn how to draw by using x-y ordinates and how to apply them on an ancient building and to be able to practice it on the archaeological field studies.
10To be able to learn to work on a digital base with archaeological plans, sections and external views.
11To be able to learn how to prepare and use the technical drawings for a scientific study and publication.
