Course Objective To understand the basic properties of the general and the contemporary Turkish dialects.
Course Content Contemporary Turkish Dialects Phonological, morphological, syntactic features to be selected. This treasury of words in dialects reflecting the selected text. Selected texts that reflect the characteristics of dialects. Chosen to reflect the cultural characteristics of the dialects of everyday conversations. All of these texts to be taught, will be examined. Newspaper and magazine articles to be taught, will be examined. Selected articles from the Internet, to be taught, will be examined. Literary texts (poetry, stories, novels, plays, epic texts, folklore texts, etc.). To be taught, will be examined.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1In contemporary Turkish dialects, "South-Western Turkish" (Azeri dialect, dialect of Turkmen, Gagauz dialect, etc.) in the dialects of group or "Eastern Turkic group" (Uzbek dialect, Uighur dialect, etc.) to learn at least one of the dialects.
