Course Objective The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the general pecularities of reforms and to examine the reform period according to different views.
Course Content The Tanzimat reforms, the reform mentality, the general character of reform period, the influence of reforms on intellectual field, the application of Tanzimat in social, economic, administrative, legal and cultural fields, the periods of Abdulhamid II’s reign and Second Constitution constitute the content of thhis course.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
