Course Objective The aim of this course is to build knowledge and awareness of immovable cultural property to be protected is intended to bring. For this purpose, the structural aspects are usually studied the works of the Seljuk and Ottoman period
Course Content Providing general information about traditional building techniques and structural masonry systems will be discussed. Adobe, brick and wood structures, explaining the features and functions of architectural elements of the building, assessments will be made public.

1Explain the concept and basic information about the formation of the structural system concept.
2Explain the general information about the building systems.
3Build and evaluate the material properties of masonry structures.
4The basic elements of adobe and brick buildings and construction techniques, adobe and brick wall construction techniques to promote and explain the unit materials and binders.
