Course Objective The scope of this course is to introduce the energy and power sources used in agricultural mechanization and to teach the general characteristics of tractors and agricultural machinery.
Course Content Agricultural mechanization in the world and in Turkey, General characteristics of agricultural tractors, Soil cultivation tools and machines (plowing techniques, plows, bottom digger), Soil cultivation tools and machines (cultivator, harrow, roller, soil mill), Fertilizer distribution machines (farm, mineral ), maintenance machines, Sowing machines, Precision and special sowing, planting machines, Problem-solving related to the processed issues, Irrigation machines, Plant protection machines, Harvesting-threshing machines (forage harvesting machines), Harvesting-threshing machines (grain, tuber, and special harvesting machines), Agricultural Machinery Management, Problem-solving topics related to the topics covered will be explained theoretically and practically.
