The program accepts students since 1995 . Under the program , the New Turkish Literature, Old Turkish Literature, Modern Turkish Language , Folklore are given specialized training in the fields.

The program , based on the students graduate qualification , the same or a different level of expertise in the field of information development and aims to provide the ability to deepen . At the end of the program , students gain skills in Turkish Language and Literature to use of theoretical and practical knowledge at expert level. Students are able to observe the historical development of Turkish Language and Literature. The program also gives students the ability to access the resources in scientific studies to be made about the Turkish Language and Literature. Also the students to benefit from first-hand sources to complete the program , they gain the ability to read and understand texts from the originals.
