The aim of this course is to teach to decide what kind of story format (podcast, video, infographic, slideshow, or a combination of these) suits their topic, audience, and purpose, and teach to use multimedia elements to enhance their content and make it more interactive, and engaging.
Course Content
Students learn to decide what kind of story format (podcast, video, infographic, slideshow, or a combination of these) suits their topic, audience, and purpose. They learn to use multimedia elements to enhance their story and make it more interactive, and engaging. Multimedia elements include images, audio, video, animations, maps, charts, graphs, and other visual or audiovisual components. students practice to use digital tools and platforms to create and share their content. There are many digital tools and platforms available for content developers to produce and distribute digital storytelling and multimedia projects. Some examples are Adobe Spark, Canva, SoundCloud, YouTube, WordPress, Medium, and social media platforms. Students will learn to apply these tools and platforms to design, edit, publish, and promote their content. they will also use them to interact with their audience, get feedback, measure impact, and update their content.
