Course Objective To teach agricultural systems to be applied in order to protect biological diversity, environment, plant, animal, and human health in the best way without polluting soil and water resources and air.
Course Content The concept of organic farming, environmental pollution and agriculture, organic farming in the world, the basic principles of organic farming, Seed Selection, Plant Nutrition and Soil Improvement Items, Agricultural Struggle Items, Organic Farming in Turkey, Organic Farming Law, Control and Certification, Transition to Organic Farming, Trade, Production, Foreign Market, Advantages and Disadvantages of Organic Agriculture, the definition of sustainable agriculture, its aims and tools, targets, biological control and biotechnology will be explained.
