Course Objective To give information about the definition and historical development of vegetables, the basic principles of vegetable cultivation, the planning of vegetable business, soil cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, classification and reproduction methods in vegetables.
Course Content Definition of vegetable, history and development of vegetable farming, the importance of vegetables in terms of human health and nutrition, its place and importance in the country's economy, Türkiye's vegetable growing regions and their characteristics, vegetable business, ecological demands of vegetables, classification of vegetables, Points to be considered in the establishment of a vegetable garden, Tillage, irrigation, fertilization, crop rotation in vegetable growing, Reproduction techniques in vegetables, seeds and seedlings.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
