Course Objective To teach basic knowledge and skills about vegetable and agricultural characteristics, ecological demands, cultivation techniques, and breeding of oil plants with economic importance.
Course Content Introducing the content of the oil crops course, Planting, production, and yields of oilseed crops in our country and in the world; the place of our country on the world scale, the import and export values of oilseed plants of our country and the world countries; The location of our country, the systematic and cytology of sunflower, soybean, peanut, sesame, safflower, rapeseed and poppy plants, their herbal characteristics, production, cultivation and yield, agriculture and breeding in the world and in Turkey will be explained.
