Course Objective
For the sustainable use of production areas, it is first necessary to reveal all the characteristics of the soils in order to identify and eliminate existing problems. For this reason, detailed soil survey and mapping studies are of great importance. The aim of this course is to emphasize the importance and applications of land quality and evaluation methods in planning and determining effective sustainable uses.
Course Content
In this course, the definition and objectives of land evaluation, soil and land factors used in land evaluation, land evaluation methods, land quality classes are explained in detail.
