Course Objective To give information about breeding, raising and feeding of farm animals.
Course Content Introduction of species and breeds, Cattle breeds, reproductive characteristics of cattle, milk and meat production from cattle Sheep-goat breeds, reproductive characteristics of sheep-goat, milk, meat and fleece production, Chicken breeds, egg and meat poultry, Bee and silkworm breeding, Definition, composition and classification of feed, Feeds used in animal nutrition, their properties and factors affecting feed value, General principles of animal nutrition, Feeding of ruminant animals and feeding of poultry.
