Course Objective The aim of this course is to introduce the necessary concepts for students to analyze the Turkish economy, and to transfer the necessary historical, institutional and structural information about the Turkish economy to the students.
Course Content Basic features of the Turkish economy and its place in the world economy, income distribution and poverty in Turkey, developments in the public economy, developments in basic sectors, economic crises and economic stability decisions in Turkey, balance of payments, foreign debts and foreign exchange market
