Having information about Legal Regulations and Non-Governmental Organizations Regarding Disabled Persons To be able to comprehend Assistive Technologies for Individuals with Special Needs. To have knowledge about the Rehabilitation of the Individuals with Special Needs in Emergency and Disaster Situations. Disaster and Emergency To be able to understand the Services to be Provided to Individuals with Special Needs in Situations.
Course Content Basic Concepts of Individuals with Special Needs, Areas of Disability and Their Characteristics, Legal Regulations and Non-Governmental Organizations for Persons with Disabilities, Assistive Technologies for Special Needs Individuals, Alternative and Supportive Communication, Teaching Security Skills to Individuals with Special Needs, Rehabilitation of Individuals with Special Needs in Emergencies and Disasters Services to be Provided to Individuals with Special Needs in Disasters and Emergency Situations
