COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To understand the level of the Windows operating system to use other software packages. Programs to use a basic level program office package. Able to perform basic operations related to Internet use.
Course Content 1. Uses the desktop environment. 2. Describes the contents of the desktop objects. 3. Explains and describes the properties of objects in the task bar. 4. Explains the Start menu options. 5. Folders and files in relation to selecting, creating, moving, copying, renaming, deleting operations. 6. The floppy disk on the use of a copy, the formatting operations. 1. With the Word; 1.1 File Opening, closing, saving operations. 1.2. Through the document, select text, move, copy operations. 1.3. Format of a selected piece of text. 1.4. Prepares and edits to the document tables. 1.5. The page setup settings for the output operations, prepares the header and footer. 2. With Excel; 2.1. Cells, rows, columns and pages on selecting, moving, copying, adding operations. 2.2. Formats the selected cells. 2.3. Write formulas into cells. 2.4. Draws graphs using tables of numerical data. 3. With Power Point; 3.1. Adds various objects on a slide forming. 3.2. Apply different effects to objects on a slide. 3.3. Slide transition settings. 3.4. Uses a pointer to a slide. 4. With Outlook; 4.1. Calendar, diary, notes, and uses those options. 4.2. Makes e-mail settings for incoming and outgoing mail. 1. Makes the connection settings for the Internet. 2. Uses Internet Explorer objects. 3. Performs a search on the Internet.
