COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective It is aimed to teach the devices used in the operating room and intensive care units to the students.
Course Content Definition of the devices used in operating room and intensive care units, usage areas working principles. Malfunctions of the heart lung pump. Electronic structure of the heart lung pump Surgical table-patient bed malfunctions. Surgical table-patient electronic malfunctions. Failures of electrosurgical devices. Installation of the operating room lamps. Electronic malfunctions of operating room lamps. Malfunctions of the anesthesia device. Electronic malfunctions of the anesthesia device. Defecting the aspirator devices. Disconnect electronic devices from aspirator devices. Ventilator mechanical failures. Special malfunctions with ventilator electrical-electronic faults. Nebulizer mechanical failures. Electrical failures of electroshock systems. Electronic malfunctions and special malfunctions of electroshock systems. Mechanical failures of dialysis devices. Electrical-electronic malfunctions and special malfunctions of dialysis devices. Mechanical defects of the oxygen concentrator. Electrical-electronic malfunctions of the oxygen concentrator.
