Course Objective The purpose of this course; biomaterials definition, structure, and medical areas, the importance of use, biomaterials varieties, production techniques and biomaterials in clicks on developments to inform students and biocompatible materials, body tissues interact with the information about the owner is to ensure that. In addition to students, depending on the characteristics and applications of biomaterials classification criteria given for the choice of materials is required.

1To be able to distinguish natural and artificial biomaterials and to evaluate the importance of biomaterials in the field of materials engineering.
2To classify depending on their intended use in the body environment of biomaterials.
3To explain terms of biocompatibility and tissue-biomaterial interactions.
4The properties of the materials used inside or outside the body, and to know application areas, the user boundaries.
