Course Objective The aim of the course is to explain the concepts of aesthetics and flexibility in interior design with examples, specialization in interior space, multifunctional, creating aesthetic and flexible spaces using basic design elements, static and dynamic interior spaces, adapting the space to every need with functional and modular reinforcement elements and so on. The aim of this course is to gain the ability to make aesthetic and flexible design by means of examination.
Course Content Functionality in the space, using the space at maximum efficiency, developing the ability to apply modular systems.

3 What are the layers of aesthetic existence?
4 What are aesthetic objects and aesthetic subjects? How does it relate to design?
5 Estetik ve esneklik sorunsalı üzerinde durulur.
6 Esneklik konusu, tasarımda karşılığı irdelenir. Estetik konularına devam edilir.
7 Estetik, yaratıcılık ve tasarım süreci ilişkisi anlatılır ve tartışılır. Esneklik konusuna devam edilir.
8 Midterm.
9 The concepts of design philosophy, aesthetic attitude, art attitude are discussed. Describes design principles.
10 What is an art object, design object and aesthetic object? Explained and discussed.
11 Aesthetic readings are made through design and artworks.
12 Design examples are presented and aesthetics and flexibility are exemplified.
13 The concepts of beautiful and ugly are discussed as an aesthetic problem.
14 What are the classical, modern and postmodern concepts? How does it relate to design and aesthetics? Explained and discussed. General Evaluation is done.
