Recognition of Prior Learning
A successful student who has completed at least one semester in another institution / department of the university or another post-graduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted to the post-graduate programs by horizontal transfer. The conditions for acceptance by horizontal transfer are determined by the Senate.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
All candidates have to complete at least 24 local credits (180 ECTS)with PhD thesis.

Access to Further Studies
A student graduated with a good PhD Degree may carry on an academic carrier as a lecturer or post doctorate researcher.

1Possesses both the basics of the field and current and advanced practicing knowledges
2practices the advanced theoretical knowledge of the field in the literary texts and related areas
3Using the acquired advanced knowledge and skills interprets, evaluates literary texts, performs language analysis, researches and produces evidence based commentaries and deductions.
4Expresses critical theories and literary texts in written and oral forms
5Acquires skills to communicate the experiences and the knowledge through verbal and oral communication methods
6Executes thesis projects and advanced researches related to the field independently
7Assumes responsibility to solve complicated problems in the thesis projects and researches
8By reading and comprehending the sources and works related to the field transmits them into Turkish
9Presents a positive attitudue open to lifelong learning with broad vision by determining learning requirements concerning the field
10Builds competence in informing and communicating the society on the popular subjects of the field.
11presents novelties and executes studies concerning the field by assuming social responsibility in the institutions
12By acquiring advanced field knowledge, keeps up with the theoretical studies and develops foreign projects and makes contacts with colleagues
13Possesses skills to use basic computer sciences, informatics and communication Technologies required for the field
