3417 INTERNAL MEDICINE NURSING

GENERAL INFORMATION
Department of Internal Medicine Nursing was established in 2022. The language of education is Turkish. The amount of credits required to be taken in the Internal Medicine Nursing Department Program is at least 60 ECTS. Those who successfully complete the courses must write a thesis under the supervision of their thesis advisor and defend it in front of the jury.

Objective
The purpose of this program is; Having professional nursing awareness, being sensitive to the health problems and care needs of the individual, family and society at national and international levels, being able to access and evaluate information on the basic issues specific to the field of Internal Medicine Nursing and the concepts, principles and methods on which they are based, and being able to conduct scientific research, and having the knowledge and skills gained. To train scientific experts who can use teaching principles and methods and transfer them to the field of practice and Internal Medicine Nursing teaching.


Admission Requirements
Student admission to the Internal Medicine Nursing Master's Program is made in accordance with the principles stipulated in the Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation and Pamukkale University Postgraduate Education Regulation prepared by the Interuniversity Board in accordance with the provision of Article 65 of Law No. 2547. Candidates who will apply to the master's program; They must be graduates of the Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, School of Nursing and School of Health, of a domestic or foreign university accepted by the Council of Higher Education (having at least a four-year bachelor's degree).

Graduation Requirements
The student must have a GPA of at least 3.00/4.00 and complete the required course load (60 ECTS); must present a research seminar and successfully prepare and defend his thesis.

Career Opportunties
They can work as teaching staff (research assistants, lecturers, training nurses and specialist nurses in hospitals) at the Schools of Nursing and Health.
