GENERAL INFORMATION
The Thesis-based Master's Program in Psychiatric Nursing has been launched in 2023. This program is affiliated with the nursing department within the Institute of Health Sciences and is called "Thesis-based Master's Program in Psychiatric Nursing". The language of instruction is Turkish. The minimum credit requirement for the program is 60 ECTS. Those who successfully complete the courses are required to conduct a thesis study under the supervision of a thesis advisor, write their results in accordance with the institute's thesis writing rules, and defend them before a jury appointed by the Institute's Board of Directors.

Objective
The program is a theoretical and applied program aimed at producing psychiatric nursing experts who are able to transfer, apply, and generate national and international literature knowledge in the field of psychiatric nursing in accordance with the needs of society, and who possess analytical thinking skills.


Admission Requirements
Admission to the Psychiatric Nursing Master's Program is carried out in accordance with the principles specified in the Graduate Education and Training Regulation and the Pamukkale University Graduate Education and Training Regulation prepared by the Interuniversity Board under the provision of Article 65 of Law No. 2547. Applicants to the master's program must have graduated from a Nursing Faculty, Health Sciences Faculty Nursing Department, Nursing School, or Health High School Nursing Department of a domestic or internationally recognized university (with at least a four-year undergraduate degree). Applicants must also have an ALES score of at least 60. In the calculations, the ALES exam score accounts for 50%, the undergraduate or graduate grade point average accounts for 15%, the exam score accounts for 25%, and the weighted average of the foreign language (YDS or equivalent score) accounts for 10%. These ratios may be changed by the PAU Institute Department Board. Applicants with a weighted average below 65 points and those who do not take the entrance exam will not be accepted into the program. The exam records are sent to the institute with an EABD presidency cover letter. The results are announced as the main and backup lists by the Institute Management Board decision. The results are ranked from high to low, and students are admitted to the Psychiatric Nursing Master's program according to the quota.

TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS
