502 OFFICE MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (Evening

GENERAL INFORMATION
The main purpose of Office Management and Director Assistance training program is to meet the needs of business with high-level clerks, office managers and administrative assistants with knowledge and skills, trained and specialized in computer use. This program also aims to educate students with the principles and methods used in professional office management , who are good at human relations, and who can write without looking at their fingers or keyboard, who can write rapidly, who can use all types of office technology, and have knowledge of modern information protocols.

Objective
This program aims to bring up a well qualified manpower that have good characters and who have developed themselves. Graduates can work in office operations and contribute to the administrators’ office activities in the private sector enterprises and public bodies and institutions.


Admission Requirements
Students will be accepted according to the base points YOK determines each year.

Students are required to successfully complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum with no failing grades, including compulsory internship trainings and summer practices, and have a minimum CGPA requirement as stated in Pamukkale University’s associate program guide.

Office Management and Secretarial Training graduates Koc, Sabanci, MNG Holding, CNN-Turk, THY, private sector organizations, such as GAMA, particularly the Presidential, Parliamentary and important public institutions, including the Banking Regulation and Supervision Board, you can easily find can work and wages far above the standards of our country in other words, they represent the best way and the university; Office Management Department of graduates earning enough to provide appropriate employment and not to any problems.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students effectively communicate in Turkish both verbally and in writing.
2Students learn about legal concepts and their responsibilities. And their develop knowledge on the law of social security.
3Students communicate both with individuals and organizations and follow and effectively use developments in information technology.
4Students examine job-related ethical and moral rules, ethical systems, investigate and examine the factors involved in the formation of morality. Students also examine case studies for their profession.
5Students understand and apply basic concepts related to secretarial matters and learns how to assist office management jobs.
6Students learn to complete office management jobs.
7Students learn to use office equipment, learn about meeting management, organization and creativity.
8Students gain knowledge and learn how to use computer office programs, the internet and e-mail, and become knowledgeable on the available use of design templates.
9Students learn to quickly and effectively use a keyboard. And how to write articles in their own language and in other languages according to the correct grammar rules.

12Students learn about basic business concepts. And take part in operational activities.

14Students gain an adequate level of foreign language skills in their field.

18Students learn to research and report any subject both orally and in writing, and how to communicate visually and verbally using the correct rules.
19Practice and experience in customer relationship management uses the self develops. Students use their experience in customer relationship management and practice and develop themselves.

21Students learn to speak both effectively and beautifully, and learn about speed reading and writing techniques.
22Students gain knowledge and skills on environmental and human health protection rules.
23Students learn to take part in accounting and finance operations.
24Students learn to recognize the basic concepts of economics, economic targets, demand and supply and how to follow market balance.
25Students learn to help the communication of Non-institutional, institutional organizations and customers. Students follow their legal responsibilities by acting in accordance with public relations, social behavior and protocol. They also learn to make professional correspondences, commercial calculations, take part in filing and archiving and use their knowledge effectively.

27Students learn to examine and evaluate behaviors specific to organizations.
28Students learn to create the infrastructure of the quality management system and implement the methods of statistical quality control in accordance with quality standards.
29Students gain and learn to apply knowledge of effective meeting strategies and gain experience on the methods of managing meetings that take place during a crisis or under stress.
30Students gain knowledge and implement public relations activities. And gives place to, activities such as sports activities and the fine arts.
31Students use the theoretical knowledge learned in this program.
