Course Objective Political, social and economic structures of Hellenistic period. Pottery production in Hellenistic period. Forms, technics, typology and chronology of Hellenistic period. Bibliography, researches, excavations and surveys. Pottery production in Hellenistic period of Anatolia. Make comparisons with other centers.
Course Content Hellenistic pottery shapes, their production process, production centers and chronological problems will be discussed. The important Hellenistic centers in Mainland Greece, Italy, Anatolia and their pottery will be evaluated by comparisons.

2Learn the technique, form, development and group of Hellenistic Period ceramics.
3Learn the important Anatolian centers ant potteries from the Hellensitic Period.
