Course Objective The aim of the course is to study burial customs of Lykia and Pamphylia regions. The objectives of the course are to determine grave inscriptions, to study grave types and grave symbolism in Ancient period of Lykia and Pamphylia regions.
Course Content Introduced that the burial customs of Lycia and Pamphylia regions then comparing with regions. Informed that the material of the tombs grave gifts and types and shapes of the graves and burial. Has examined that the differences between the regions, epitaphs, penalty of tombs and society of the tomb. Has analyzed that the funeral cortege and the tombs according to the ancient writers. Introduced that the symbolism of grave and burial rituals in Lycia and Pamphylia regions.
