Course Objective Conceptual and theoretical frameworks are cognitive resources that enable us to perceive and understand human nature. Educational practices that do not take into account these perspectives can not produce effective results. It therefore requires an analytical examination of the dynamics involved in the multidimensionality of development, learning and educational processes. In this contex, the theoretical frameworks in literature and their educational reflections will be be discussed in terms of the roles of teachers, parents and researchers in this course.
Course Content Psychoanalytic Approaches (Freud, Erikson), Constructivist Approaches (Piaget, Vygotsky), Ecological Approach (Brofenbrenner), Moral Development Approaches (Kohlberg, Gilligan, Piaget), Attachment Approaches (Bowlby), Schema Therapy Theory (Young), Behavioral Learning Approaches (Classical and Operative Conditioning), Cognitive Learning Approaches (Bruner, Ausubel, Piaget), Gestalt Learning Approach (Wertheimer, Köhler, Koffka), Social Learning (Bandura), Information Processing Approach (Miller, Gagne, Bruner) Physiological Learning (Hebb, W.James), Individual Differences in Development and Learning, etc.
