Course Objective This course aims to engage students in exploring the many creative possibilities of new media in art education. By engaging in a hands-on dialog with digital materials, students will explore the impact of technology in the art room, the changing role of the visual art educator and the importance of making current changes to the curriculum. It aims to grasp the methods and techniques that can be applied in visual art education with new media and new digital technologies.
Course Content This course includes the critical analysis of new media arts, the structuring of teaching experiences on new media and digital arts, and the application and evaluation processes of new technologies in visual arts education.
