Course Objective The focus is placed on an analytical perspective through critical studies of key texts and theories, topics, and approaches related to profession, occupation, work, communication, context, and culture that are relevant to educational science relating to physical education teacher education (PETE).
Course Content Course introduction and the Syllabus, History of Teacher and Physical Education Teacher Education in Turkey, Purposes of Education and Their Implications for Schooling in the 21st Century, Standards and Theory Related to Teacher Qualifications, Standards and Theory Related to Physical Education Teacher Qualifications, Review and synthesis of recent researches, Student Presentations.
