COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The concept of statistics and the functions of statistics, the place of statistics in the research process, the types of variables, types of scales, the selection of appropriate statistics for data analysis, the creation of a data file in the statistics program, the development of students' skills in data analysis.
Course Content Basic concepts of statistics, Collection and organization of statistical data, Frequency distributions and graphs, Measures of central tendency, Measures of Central Distribution, Probability Distributions, (Binomial Distribution, Normal Distribution, Paisson Distribution) Converting raw scores to Standard Scores, Some types of correlations and usage patterns, simple regression analysis.
