Course Objective This course aims to provide an introduction to the systematic cycles of design-based research in education and conceptual fundamentals of methodological tools to realize it.
Course Content Design Based Research is an emerging approach to relating research and practice that is collaborative, iterative, and grounded in systematic inquiry. DBR builds the capacity of systems to engage in continuous improvement, so that we can accomplish the transformation of teaching and learning we seek. t is one of the goals of the Design-Based Research to bring out optimized educational designs and programs in terms of productivity and applicability. This course contains resources and links that will help you learn about Design-Based Research. Students will learn the basics of design research through classroom discussions and written assignments, learn how to construct and investigate a theoretically based intervention, and suggest a series of design studies on a chosen topic of research.
