Course Objective Understanding the basic laws governing the sources of energy, extraction, transfer, storage, degradation and end uses, how much energy we can get from the wind, how solar photovoltaic works, what is the ocean thermal energy converters, and how it works, physics behind global warming, principles that make engines efficient, principles of nuclear reactor operation, and realistic hazards.
Course Content To learn the basic laws required during energy production from energy sources, physical processes, thermal energy converters, physics behind increasing energy production, working principles and structures of energy production systems.
