Course Objective The aim of this course is teaching the normed spaces and matrix norms, the concepts of functionals and dual spaces, finding eigenvalues and eigenvectors and to teach the diagonalization of a matrix.
Course Content Normed Spaces, Matrix Norms, Linear Operations, Linear Functionals and Dual Spaces, Hermitian, Unitary and Normal Operations, Eigenvalue and Eigen vectors, Singular Values, Diagonalization and Triangularization, Quadratic Equations and Simlification of Quadratic Surfaces, Bilinear Forms, Groups of Bilinear Forms, Quadratic Forms, Jordan Canonical Forms, Polynomials
