Course Objective Provide an advanced method of solution of engineering problems.
Course Content Analysis of stress, principal stresses, stress invariants, simple shear, three-dimensional Mohr's circle, strain analysis, strain elements rectangular, polar coordinates, plane stress linear elastic stress strain relations of objects, the ideal flow of plastic bodies breaking theories, the theory of maximum elastic strain , energy methods, the rods bending, and collapse of thick curved beams, torsion solution of the problems, torsion of a thick-walled tubes, non-symmetric problems, the thermal stresses, elastic stability.
