Course Content Material Science Terminology, Historical Development and Future, Applications, Electron Transfer Salt Based Conductive, Superconductive and magnets, Advanced Polymeric Materials, Polymers that are used in Electronic, Rotaksan, kaliksaren, porfirin, dekstrin C60, etc molecules and applications, Thin Film, Film Production Techniques (Collecting Chemical Vapour CVD, Langmuir-Blodgett film LBF etc.), optical properties of non-linear organic materials, Nano particules and nano structured materials, Biomaterials

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Learns the basic principles of materials chemistry, elements and compounds, chemical formulas and reactions, the periodic table and their places in the table.
2Students will gain knowledge about metals and their alloys as basic materials, polymer chemistry and ceramic chemistry.
3t relates the effects of chemical bond types and the properties of complex materials to the structure of materials and complex compounds. It gives information about inorganic molecules, liquids and solutions, structural solid state chemistry and the chemistry of inorganic surfaces.
4Provides literature information on inorganic material synthesis.
