Course Objective To give information about surface and surface analysis.
Course Content Properties of surfaces, Surface coating techniques, Sampling for the analysis of surface, Surface analysis methods, Scanning-electron microscopy,X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) or Energy dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy (EDXRF), Total diffraction X-Ray spectroscopy (TXRF), Laser spectroscopy, Secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS), Analysis of multiple elements with the Glim discharge lamp, Other techniques (LAMMA, THEED, FTIR, Raman sp).
