Course Content Seismic refraction profiling and shot positions. Evaluation strategies of refraction data and some related applications. Soil engineering studies. Determination of underground elastic parameters by geophysical techniques. Resonance vibration frequency. Determination of ground stiffness in view of soil engineering by use of geophysical methods. Earthquake risk calculations. Preparation of acceleration maps. Process of micro-zoning. Investigation of underground water and materials by use of geophysical methods. Landslide investigations. .
