Course Objective Industrial raw materials, metallic ores and energy resources forming lots of materials that we use in daily life are important potentials to develop the economy of a country. In these subjects, information about World Industrial Mineral Sector and potential of industrial minerals of Turkey, reserves, optimum usage and raw materials that can be replaced with them is explained with comparison. To teach different usage areas of clay minerals that have different chemical composition and different structure, to teach raw materials that is used in refractor industry, to teach boron and zeolite minerals and their usage areas and to teach occurrence conditions of these minerals.
