Course Objective To provide information about geographical information systems and remote sensing methods in water resources engineering.
Course Content Introduction to Hydrology of Remote Sensing And GIS , Fundamentals of Remote Sensing, Use of remote sensing data and methods, Use of remote sensing data and methods, Water resources, Coastline monitoring, Sediment transport; Water quality and effects of polluted substance with RS, Geographical Information System, Fundamentals of GIS, Data structure in geographical information system (Vector data; Raster data); Hardware and software; Integration of Remote Sensing data and GIS, Monitoring of water quality using satellite data, Applications on Modelling of Hydrology by Remote Sensing and GIS techniques, Modelling of Hydrology by Remote Sensing and GIS techniques .
