Course Objective The main purpose of this course is to evaluate the transportation investments.
Course Content Economic characteristics of transport- Economic problems in the engineering and planification of transport- Costs of transport- Externel impacts and costs of transport, internalisation of external costs-User's surplus concept- Time value- Generalised cost, social cost-Pricing of tranport services-Pricing of roads-Concepts in evaluation of transport investments- Financial evaluation of transport investments-Economic evaluation of transport investments-Cost/benefit analysis- Multi-criteria analysis.
