Course Objective The aim of this study is to learn carbonhyrate, nitrogen, protein, and nücleik acid metabolism including their regulation.
Course Content Carbohydrate metabolism in microorganisms; FDP, KDPG, HMP pathways, dehydrogenation of pruvate, Krebs cycle, anaerobic respiration, alcoholic and acidic fermentations, oxygenic and anoxygenic photosynthesis, nitrogen metabolism, amino acids and proteins synthesis, lipid metabolism, fatty acids and phospholipids metabolisms, nucleic acids metabolism, regulation of metabolism; induction, repression, activation and biofeedback etc. .
