Course Objective Wastes due to inventory are parts of seven main wastes. The aim of this course is to introduce strategies and methods for efficient inventory control in order to eliminate wastes and decrease costs due to inventory.
Course Content Introduction to inventory management, inventory cost analysis, deterministic single-item models with static demand, multiple items and constraints, quantity discounts, stochastic single period models, periodic review models, lot-size problems with dynamic demand.
