Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamentals and development of fuzzy set theory and to gain knowledge of how it applies to engineering problems involving fuzziness
Course Content The concept of fuzzy and linguistic variables, mathematical expression of the fuzziness, definition of the membership function and determination of the membership functions, the basic concepts in fuzzy set theory, fuzzy set operations, fuzzy algebraic operations, examples for the basic application areas of fuzzy set theory.
