Course Objective The purpose of this course, with modern enzymology and regulatory mechanisms to provide a deeper understanding of protein biochemistry.
Course Content The course involves the nature of the enzyme structure & function relationship, specificity of enzyme action, basic principles of chemical kinetics, assays and other practical aspects, multi-substrate reactions, mechanisms of enzyme regulation in metabolism, metal in enzymes, catalysis and enzyme applications, classification, assay and purification.
