Course Objective To introduce the consumables and devices in the laboratory, to teach the principles of safe working in the laboratory, to get them apply the basic techniques for studies with plant pathogenic fungi and to provide basic laboratory skills.
Course Content Introduction to mycology lab. techniques, consumables and devices, fungus sampling methods, examination of diseased plant samples, introduce of fungus species and species, fungal preparation methods, specific and non-specific nutrient media, general isolation techniques, isolation from plant tissues, isolation from the soil, isolation from reproductive organs, creating collection and protection, establishment of trials

1Knows how to work safely in the laboratory.
2Knows the general laboratory techniques used in Mycology.

4Knows the symptoms of common fungal disease agents
5Isolates, cultures, and preserves fungi that cause disease in plants.
6Knows and improves the preparation of a nutrient medium for fungi.
7Sets up and follows the experiments for scientific research.
