Course Objective Discuss the basic immunologic features of tumor cells to show understanding of why these cells are potential targets of the immune system and assess how tumor cells evade detection and destruction by immune cells.
Course Content İmmune system cells, immune modulation, tumor antigens, the role of immune defects in carcinogenesis, immunological tumor escape mechanisms during carcinogenesis.
