Course Objective The aim of this lecture is to understand the knowledge of structure and functions of intercellular connections at PhD level. Students are expected to have knowledge to evaluate cells in their surrounding environment and in this context to have competence to understand the relations of structure and functions.
Course Content Structure and functions of intercellular connections Gap juctions, thigth juctions, desmosomes, intracellular matrix, extracellular matrix, cell membrane- cellular skeleton- extracellular matrix proteins and functions. .
