Course Objective This course aims to examine the 20th century fantastic novel in the light of the century’s and the novel’s historical development with respect to the social, political, economical theories and theories of fantastic literature.
Course Content The 20th century fantastic novels are discussed in the light of the philosophical, social, political and literary developments with respect to style, meaning and theme by comparing them with the novels of previous periods. The significant novels are analyzed technically in the light of the theories taught in the class.
