Course Objective The aim of this course is to analyse Shakespearean drama in the light of literary theories and economici socio-politic and cultural events of the period.
Course Content The art of Shakespearean drama will be analyzed both in terms of technique and form through analysis the texts of Shakespeare by considering literary, philosophical, politic developments of the Renaissance period. In the theoretical background provided in the course Shakespearean drama will be analyzed.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

12Follows the influence of Shakespearean Drama on other playwrights and their works from the Renaissance until the contemporary drama.
